MLM: Unconventional Or Conventional Business?

Conventional means common, known, accepted, agreed upon. Unconventional means just the opposites.
MLM or Network Marketing is a legal business. Because this business method is accepted by the governments of mostly all countries and allowed operations there. Network Marketing industry is 70+ years old and many people have agreed to do this business during these years. It’s very much known to people. Who doesn’t know about MLM? Well, it may have some bad reputation in the market, but that’s a different story.
MLM business is a common, known, accepted and agreed upon business method. So, how can it be unconventional? Some people like to call it unconventional, because they want to show that they are doing something different. They want to catch your attention. They want you to believe whatever they say. They want you to believe that in unconventional business you don’t need to work. They want you to believe that you can create a full-time earning by doing this unconventional business part-time. They want you to believe that you can retire at the age of 40 (of course, if you start before that) and will never need to work for earning rest of your life. You keep quiet, because you don’t know about it — it’s unconventional!
Except for those, who have made billions from this industry (because, they are extra-ordinary, we are talking about ordinary people here) — show me one healthy and normal person who has made good money from MLM business, and is not doing any work to earn money. Show me one person who is still in the business and earning good money and is not busy throughout the day for managing this business. Show me one person who has built up a huge MLM business himself by working part-time only (2-4 hours a day).

So, MLM is conventional. There is nothing unconventional about it.
